The Crossing Theatre has two cinemas that operate 6 days a week, with evening sessions offered on Friday and Saturday nights. The larger of the two cinema has 150 seats and the smaller cinema has 70. The cinemas are equipped with the latest digital projectors and fully immersive surround sound speakers. These cinemas can also be utilised for conferences and lectures. To compliment the cinemas, The Crossing Theatre also runs a Candy Bar which stocks a variety of popcorn, lollies, chips, chocolates and beverages. Don’t forget to ask our staff about our Candy Bar combos!

COVID-19 Update

Upon reopening, The Crossing Theatre Cinemas will be fully compliant with all current restrictions imposed by the NSW Government. We strongly encourage our customers to book online prior to the screenings. This will not only reduce our face to face contact, but will also ensure that you don’t miss out on tickets due to the limited capacities.

Cinema refurbishment

Whilst the NSW Government has announced cinemas are allowed to reopen with strict restrictions, The Crossing Theatre cinemas will remain closed at this point in time due to:
– Refurbishment of both cinemas. The refurbishment of both cinemas was planned for later this year however, was brought forward after cinemas were forced closed by the government in March 2020. We have taken advantage of this time to undertake much needed maintenance and upgrades to both cinemas.
– Movie distribution supply networks have been disrupted with most box office, new movie releases still currently unavailable.
The Crossing Theatre staff are monitoring any changes to the release of box office movies and are looking forward to the cinema refurbishments being completed in September.
We understand the community have been waiting patiently for the cinemas to reopen, and we cannot wait to be able to welcome you all back!
Thanks again for your understanding, we will keep you posted on the progress of the refurbishment!
